Bedford (2001 pop.: 16,102) is a previous town within Nova Scotia, Canada. It lies on the northwestern prevent of Bedford Basin, which is part of the Halifax Harbour. Bedford occurs as commuter suburb for neighbouring Halifax and Dartmouth.
History A todays city manager of HRM is Peter J. Kelly, who was the mayor of Bedford at the time of amalgamation.
